Everyday was filled with something to do! There was never a dull moment. I loved the culture, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! This trip helped me with professional development and self development! I was able to immerse myself into a different culture and experience everything first hand. Before this trip I was nervous flying out alone, but trust me ITS WORTH IT, the experience is unforgettable. PINC is an awesome program!!
Just do it!

I had been following this program for 2 years before I finally decided to apply for the 2017 immersion program and I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. As I was flying home from Madrid, I spent some time reflecting on my two weeks abroad and all I knew was I wanted to do it all over again. I learned so much myself professionally and personally that I otherwise would not have discovered had it not been for PINC. The housing was perfect, (only a few metro stops away from the cities), the classes were super interactive and fun, the cultural group activities were also all amazing. We were given just the right amount of freedom to do what we wanted at night. We also had the option of traveling to outside cities for the day. The girls were all amazing, you build such great bonds and build such a huge network. I could go on and on how much this program has impacted my life, but the best advice I could give anyone considering this program is to JUST DO IT! You will have the time of your life and you will never regret it.
Learned more than just a few new Spanish words..

If you gave me thirty seconds to explain my time abroad with PINC, I wouldn't find it difficult. Yes, it's worth mentioning that the food was delectable, the culture was beautiful, and around every corner was a perfect insta-worthy snapshot. However, with only thirty seconds to explain and probably only 12 of those seconds are of your undivided attention, I'd like to share the most important thing I took away. I have big dreams and PINC was part of the reason why I decided to chase them rather than sleep in them. It might seem over simplified or cliché, but during my time abroad I realized how reachable things were when I took the time to break things up into baby steps. The moment you begin doing and stop saying is the moment you begin to live life as the reality you chose to live instead of the dream you say you wish. PINC has taught me to be proud of my childlike imagination and look at my role as visionary as a serious attribute to the world. I had no idea I would actually go on this trip because I had never taken a dream and broken it down to my reality, and now that I have, it makes me feel like I can do anything.
10/10 would recommend for an amazing summer

As a person who has done multiple study abroad programs, I can honestly say PINC was by far my favorite. I am the type of person who spontaneously makes big decisions and signing up for this program was one of my best. The program gave me the freedom I needed in order to thrive in a foreign country. We had city managers that acted as our big sisters to show us the ropes of Madrid, but we were always allowed and encouraged to explore on our own.
I did not know anyone going into this program and I was nervous meeting everyone; however, I was able to meet life-long friends that I know I will see in the future. I feel that this program attracts all different types of personalities. My group had people who have seen the world and people who were first time travelers. Additionally, the personalities ranged from the cool chill girl to the girl who laughs at bad puns and is obsessed with memes (I am allowed to say that because that’s me). The beauty of this is that we were all able to meet and become friends. Living in the apartments, which were amazing, gave us the opportunity to get to know each other.
My goal during this summer was to gain work experience to put on my resume and to explore Europe. I can say this was accomplished and exceeded my expectations. During my 8 weeks in Spain, I traveled to Ireland, Rome, and Paris during my weekends. Additionally, I was able to gain work experience that I can put on my resume that I know will catch the eye of future employers.
The memories make this experience amazing

I loved traveling to new places. Ever since I was younger I have been able to travel all around the US with my family. I knew when I was younger that I wanted to see more of the world and visit Europe. Finding this program was a miracle. If it wasn't for Lisette coming into a Sunday evening chapter meeting with my sorority, I would have never thought to look for a program abroad. I never researched anything for travel before so when this opportunity came up I knew it was time to do something for myself and branch out without the comfort of family or friends. I went into the immersion trip alone and not knowing any of the girls. Leaving this trip, I have gained travel friends across the country and memories that I will never forget. This trip was something that changed my outlook on the world. Being in Madrid was the happiest and culturized place I've ever seen. It was worth the long flight. It was worth the time. It was worth the price. This experience was an amazing start to my travels and I will always have the memories of Madrid and Barcelona.
