one month Madagascar

My time in Madagascar has been a great experience valued for live. The teaching Programm itself is great fun and all students are so lovely! They are always open and curious, not only interested in the English course but also in you as a person. It's great to do things with some student apart from the normal classes and gives a great feeling for the country and it's culture. Some things going on around the project itself, in terms of support, on-site staff, topics taught, etc unfortunately did not meet my expectations but the teaching aspect itself I really enjoyed.
Program: Madagascar Teaching
A busy and exciting six weeks!

I have had a great six weeks in Madagascar!
The variety of this program allows you to discover what you enjoy most and spend more time on that part of the project. For me, this allowed me to complete my openwater PADI diving course, whilst also spending time leading my own Community Development project in the local village. This was a motivating and eye-opening experience.
Life on camp is a lot of fun, and a good contrast with the weekends that I tended to spend in bustling Hellville or on trips to the amazing islands around Nosy Be!
I'm already thinking coming back!

Incredible experience and I don't feel ready to leave! Camp life is really good fun and I have met some wonderful people. The PADI open water course was great and very well organised- and what an amazing place to learn to dive! I have really enjoyed the teaching part of the project, especially the varied nature of it and the chance to work with the local community. Would definitely recommend!

The project is as described online. The wildlife is beautiful and abundant and there is plenty to do and see. The staff is knowledgeable and energetic, with great work ethic. Overall it was a wonderful experience, the only suggestion I have is to update the kit list. For example: one towel is not enough!

Coming here has given me a different insight to life for which I am so grateful for. I've learnt the true meaning of team work friendship. Being here has opened my eyes to all the ways we can save our planet and all of it's beautiful creatures and I look forward to trying my hardest to make this world what it once used to be.
