As an introverted individual, I was cautious the idea of studying abroad in a foreign country, but with CAPA's guidance, being abroad wasn't so scary after all. I studied abroad in Dublin during the Fall semester of 2017 and took courses at Griffith College. CAPA really prepared me for studying abroad by emailing me helpful advice and tips such as what items I should pack or leave at home. They also sent me an information packet with information cultural immersion acclimating to my new host city. By having an office at Griffith College, CAPA was really supportive and I could go to them to when I needed help or to stop by to see a friendly face. I took the CAPA class called Global City which introduced me to what it is like to live as a Dubliner. This course tied in Dublin's past to its current day issues, such as gentrification. Dublin was the perfect urban environment to study abroad in because the city was not small enough to seem boring and not too big to get lost in. Dublin is filled with so much history and beautiful architecture. Despite its old age, Dublin is a great place for younger generations.

I fell in love with Italy, and to be able to say that I lived there for 3 months seems unreal. If I could do it again, I definitely would. It's a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should take. These experiences turn into wonderful memories you'll cherish forever.

Before going on this program, I have never been out of the country before. coming into this program was a nerve racking yet exciting experience. I love London and everything the city has to offer. CAPA did a great job of making us feel welcome and allowing us to be independent while also helping us to navigate the city. All in all, I would say that study abroad has been a huge commitment but I think it was definitely worth it. the friends and memories I have made in my short time here are something I never want to forgot. I am excited to share my experiences and memories with you all while I continue on this amazing journey.

This Program was very helpful in allowing me to pursue my educational goals abroad. Here i was able to intern with a bank in Dublin. As i am a finance major this placement was amazing and has helped me to gain critical experience and intern in the US this summer.

I loved my experience in Sydney. Over the course of three months, I met and spoke with locals, improved my time- management skills, gained confidence while travelling and interacting with new people, and learned more Australian culture from living there. I have nothing but good things ti say my experiences and now definitely have a travel bug!
