After all, it's not a bad idea to consider financial aid for your travels—especially now, with academic and higher education program costs increasing every year. That's where travel scholarships abroad come in! It might be a little overwhelming to sift through all of the options available (though this guide to all things travel scholarships should help), but it's worth TOTALLY the effort, and we're here to help you every step of the way. The InterExchange Foundation Sustain Grant covers the program fee (as well as expedited passport fees, if needed) for our Sustainable Action Costa Rica program—an 8-day educational tour offering insight into U.N. Florida State University is excited to announce its FSU Gap Year Fellow award for students interested in taking a gap year. As one of few universities in the US that offer funding for gap years, Florida State is proud to offer this to high school seniors who have been admitted to FSU for this upcoming January 2019. Apply by February 15th to be an FSU Gap Year Fellow!

The AXA Achievement Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. In addition, for every student who wins a scholarship, a grant in the amount of $1,000 will be made to the winner’s school.

Under the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship (VCIS) - English Language, students will be receiving a partial scholarship award of AU$2,500 towards their English Language Program taken from the Macquarie University English Language Centre. This amount will be applied once-off towards the tuition fees at the start of your degree.

Study in Korea is offering Global Korea Scholarship, a scholarship to incoming international exchange students from around the world. The recipient is given a one-time payment of 200,000 KRW when they arrive, a monthly living expense stipend of 500,000 KRW, and medical insurance coverage of 200,000 KRW. The aim of this scholarship program is to provide international students with opportunities to conduct advanced studies in undergraduate and graduate programs at higher educational institutions in the Republic of Korea in order to promote international exchanges in education and mutual friendship between countries.

The Obuchi Student Scholarship is being awarded to a graduate student who is participating in a degree at the University of Hawai’i or the Asia Pacific Leadership Program. All awardees must also be completing an onsite academic program at the East-West Center.
