I will definitely recommend this program to everyone

Everything was very clear in the Pre-departure booklet received us from the VolSol Team to prepare us for the trip. Meals are a good mix of home-cooked meals and meals of different cuisines and well-suggested places for traveling with a group, Everything was amazing. The orientation session was really well conducted. We get a proper information what we have to take care of, local languages, cultures, few Hindi phrases and many other little things that were useful and important for our trip.
Having lunch at the local restaurant named Nathu’s in Delhi is something I will never forget, it was very delicious. Visiting the beautiful Akshardham temple in Delhi and the Wonders of The World Taj Mahal and Marble Factory in Agra, witnessing tea plantation in Palampur and working with Elephants in Jaipur are few of my favorite moments.
Everyone from the in-country staff was amazing. Each one has a different personality that made the trip even better.

Amazing, Fun Filled Working Experience with Elephants!

It was really pleasant to be able to get close to the elephants and understand their behaviour and
needs. Rosiee was a nice host, very helpful. I appreciate the fact that it was possible to travel on the weekends.
Amal and Rosiee are helpful and have answered all my questions and needs. The overall living experience was excellent. It was very comfortable and homely stay with all the facilities that I could have asked for.
Bathing the elephants in the river and give them vitamins directly in the mouth were the highlights of my project.
Big thanks to my in-country supervisors and I hope I'll see you all again.

I just returned from the medical internship project in Nepal this week and to sum it up, it was a beautiful and worthwhile experience filled with blissful and unforgettable moments. At 17, I was quite hesitated at first to do such a journey, but the support I got from my in-country supervisors and the quick replies of the operation office to all my inquiries were enough to make everything really easy. Nepal is a breath-taking country which I hope to visit again. The people are really friendly and the things you get to see and do there are one of a kind. Big thanks to my in-country supervisors and I hope I'll see you all again.
I fell in love with the kids there

For me, it was a dream, since I was 12 years old. Now I am 27 and I could finally do it. What can I say? How can I explain it With words? I can not.!!! You have to live it, to feel it, to love it and you will understand me. It was the best month of my life. I have had sad days because seeing the children in the conditions they live, for me was really sad, I wish they could live better, but we Know, this world is full of poor... But a thing That I learnt these Kids, this Kenyan family, my Kenyan Family... Is one thing: they have LOVE. Real love. And With it, you have everything... I will always keep in my heart, I can still feel my baby Joshua's breathe... I really miss him... And everyone, but for me he was special.
Lovely time India with the kids

My sister and I did the two week street children program in New Delhi, India last month and it definitely was an experience I will never forget! The Volunteering Solutions staff were all super nice and helpful and made being in India feel safe and enjoyable. The kids were so happy that we were there to volunteer and we loved playing games with them and interacting with them and the community. We also took a side trip on the weekend and got to see the Taj Mahal, definitely amazing to see it in person! I hope to do some more volunteering with Volunteering Solutions in the future!
