This program is a unique horse training experience where participants will learn natural horsemanship and western riding while training and rehabilitating horses so they may find success in their forever homes. The program is open to all levels of horse experience. There is no prior experience with horses required, and while there is ample opportunity to ride, it is not required.

We keep our learning groups small, creating a truly individualized experience for each student and allowing each person and horse to work at their own pace. Students work with a group of rescue horses who may be at different levels of experience and training, and also have the opportunity to ride trained ranch horses for trail rides and other activities. All of the horses are unique in their ages, backgrounds, and histories, so they are excellent teachers for students of all levels.

Participants are taught to work with the horses in a patient, thoughtful, and consistent manner that will allow them and the horses to build trust and advance together at their own pace. We truly strive to create a family-like environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and sharing their opinions.

Being part of the "Rescue Horse Training Program" helped me a a lot improving as a rider and person itself.
Chezz is always there to guide me trough any situation no matter what. With his patient he made me calm down in moments where I normally would not be able to do that. His knowledge is amazing! Chezz likes to explain everything from riding tack and it's use to how to measure pulse and the temperature on the animals.
When everyone is feeling hot and done with work he never says "no" to a drive-through to his favorite ice cream place ;)
His wife Nicole is always there for a relaxing yoga session which are awesome!
Yoga helps you having a better seat in the saddle and how to use your body in a lighter and clearer way around the animals.
They're a amazing hosts and I would come back over and over again !
