Asia Internship Program Reviews

As my university requires, I had to do an internship of 4 months minimum, and I already knew that my destination would have been Japan. So I went on the net and looked for an internship there, when suddenly Asia Internship Program caught my attention, because of the interesting packages they offer and the way they interacted with me, always available and keen to help.
I couldn’t be happier with my choice, they helped me find my internship in a Japanese company as Marketing Officer and assisted me during my whole experience. This helped a lot because even if I have always been in love with Japan, I was a little afraid of this long trip and of what was waiting for me over there.
Indeed, I had one memorable experience. Besides learning new things on the marketing field during my working days, I had the chance to meet lots of people from around the world (many of which I still am in touch), and also visiting the country and experiencing the Japanese culture on my very skin.
When my internship ended I was very sad to leave and go back to my ordinary life, but at the same time, I was very excited because this internship changed me, helped me open my eyes and understand our crazy world a little bit more.
For now, I will focus on my bachelor, but as soon as I finish I will absolutely come back for another wonderful internship!!
Best experience abroad I've ever had!

I just came home after interning abroad in Thailand for 3 months and it was amazing! I could not find an internship company in Thailand first, but I wanted to intern in Thailand so much that I started to look for an internship placement provider. I found Asia Internship Program via their website, and turned out to be the best experience abroad I have ever had. They helped me with almost everything, so that my experience abroad was going to be the best prepared period ever in my life (I am quite a messy person). I have chosen the standard package and it was absolutely worth the money. Asia Internship Program helped me with searching a room, I met them at the airport, got a SIM card and also a Thai culture and language course!! My time in Thailand was, thanks to them, incredibly amazing! Thank you!!!
3 month internship in Vietnam

My trip to Ho Chi Minh City was my first time in Vietnam and also my first real world working experience which turned out to be an amazing adventure also. The bulk of the preparations was taken care of by AIP who made sure I had my visa, picked me up from the airport and sorted me out with accommodation in a decent location.
I really enjoyed the daily routine I had in Vietnam, I found it so interesting how taking a daily nap is not only expected but encouraged. As someone who partakes in the odd siesta this was the greatest thing someone could have told me. Other than the sacred daily nap the work life was pretty full on as I was in an international company. The other staff members were really nice and accommodating and I couldn't say a single thing against them - accept the cleaning lady who never put the paper towels to dry your hands in the bathroom. For those looking to take part in something new, unique and exciting I would defiantly suggest this program.
Kiwi's adventure to KL

I think the most interesting thing Malaysia is the fact that there is no one culture. There is Chinese, Indian and Malay influences which leads to my favorite part Malaysia - the food. Chinese food like Hainanese chicken rice, Indian food like ayam masak merah and Malay food like nasi lemak - you can't get food even close to that in New Zealand. I was based in KL which was convenient for weekend trips, I got to go the Batu caves, visit monkeys and fireflies and go to Panang. Sadly after my internship I had to go straight home for college so I didn't have any time to travel, which is why I made such an effort to travel on weekends. I met some other interns who had arrived in KL before me so I got to go on most of my adventures with them :) My internship in an architecture agency was more hands on than I expected which was tiring but undoubtedly beneficial. I don't regret coming here at all and I'm defiantly relieved to have some relevant working experience on my CV not just bar work. I recommend this program to anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation than me and who want to be ready for the job market after graduating.
My adventurous experience in Malaysia

6. Malaysia is a mix of different races and religions where Malays, Chinese, Indians and many other ethnic groups living together. I chose Kuala Lumpur to do my internship because it’s very diverse as it’s culture. I was really happy where I was placed at, so AIP did a really good job on that. The most important thing is that I’ve learned and gained something from the internship. I met so many interns that were going through the same experience as I am, so we bonded really fast. The accomodation wasn’t in a good location tho. I have to take 2 buses to get to company.
Besides work, I manage to travel around Malaysia like Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. I got to see and try the local foods too. Surprisingly, It was delicious! I enjoyed every minute of it.
