Rikki Brown is a graduate of Russian Studies from Grand Valley State University. She traveled throughout Russia numerous times, and studied abroad in Saint Petersburg for a year. Following graduation, she received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship, which led her back to Russia to teach at Astrakhan State University. She blogged her experiences along the way. After teaching she moved to Istanbul to study Turkish, and then took a teaching job in Ankara, where she currently lives teaching the quirks of the English language. Rikki fully enjoys exploring new places, looking at maps, dining out, drinking coffee, reading captivating novels, laughing at bad translations of the English language, and enjoying the greatness that is life.
