Kendal works in higher education supporting a professor at Harvard and living as a resident assistant to Japanese college students studying abroad in the U.S. The daughter of a retired naval captain, travel has always been a major part of Kendal’s life. A semester abroad in Osaka eventually led her to work as an elementary English teacher in Japan. She has traveled to over 13 countries, and Mongolia and Iceland are next on her wish list.
